Community Radio and Podcast
PM eVIDYA venture also offers educational e-contents (especially audio programmes) on radio platforms;
both traditional radio e. g. FM as well as online radio e. g. podcast. Radio and podcast are aimed to serve
the children lacking proper ICT infrastructure. The dissemination/ broadcast of these programmes is done
on 85 Radio Stations (12 Gyan Vani FM Radio Stations, 73 Community Radio Stations) and Podcasts on
iRadio and JioSaavn Mobile apps. Till date, 3,077 pieces of curriculum-based radio programmes (Classes
1-12) are available on various platforms and many more are in the process of production. The podcast on
iRadio had 228 live sessions till the end of September, 2021.
