        DIKSHA- One Nation One Digital Platform has been running Capacity Building Programmes. 04 Online
        Professional Development Programmes were offered by NCERT on DIKSHA during this quarter:
        1. Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste (E-Waste) in collaboration with MeitY 2. COVID-19 Responsive
        Behaviors in collaboration with UNICEF (in English and Hindi) Batch-2 is running 3. Action Research Course
        Batch-2 is running 4. Urdu Script Writing (Urdu version) Batch-2 is running.

        Following are the brief of other activities undertaken in DIKSHA in the month of September 2021: i) DIKSHA
        Steering committee has approved extension of current cloud hosting for another 12 months. ii) Request
        has been sent to NIC for setting up a DIKSHA PMU for NCERT iii) Total 4,620 Energized Textbooks have been
        developed by states/UTs and NCERT iv) About 2,12,468 pieces of e-content are live on DIKSHA. About 568
        CBSE Shikshawani audios based on NCERT textbooks are available on DIKSHA and about 490 textbook
        based ISL videos uploaded on DIKSHA.

        Development and roll-out of courses for MOOCs on SWAYAM (School MOOCs for Classes 9th – 12th
        and MOOCs for Teacher Education) started Cycle 7 for 30 school education courses and the registration
        has been extended till 30 September, 2021 and around 86,731 learners have been enrolled across the
        courses. Updation of MOOCs repository in CIET portal has been done. Customisation of course content for
        sharing with States is in process. An online workshop was conducted 19-21 July, 2021 for the development
        of assessment questions and around 3,000 questions have been developed. Another online workshop
        was also conducted 26-27 July, 2021 for review of assessment questions and review is in process. 11 HD
        videos of Chemistry and Economics have been finalized. Around 800 videos of MOOCs courses checked
        and uploaded on DIKSHA portal.

        Under DIKSHA/ICT Excellence Award for School Teachers, Teacher Educators and States/UTs the list of
        49 awardees has been approved by the Ministry for the years 2018 (25) and 2019 (24). For distribution of
        awards, process has been initiated to purchase 49 laptops, medals and preparation of testimonial booklet.

        Organization of Festival, ICT Mela, contests of digital contents and coordination with States/ UTs is an

        event conducted annually. The Jury Meeting of the 25  All India Children’s Educational Audio Video Festival
        was held from 9-18 July, 2021 in order to select the Best Program and Individual Excellence Awards for all
        5 categories (Audio, Byte Size Video on LOs, Video, New Media & ICT and Digital Games) out of 462 entries
        in various categories. After the decision of the jury, the list of final best program and individual excellence
        winner was prepared and uploaded on the CIET website. The 25  AICEAVF was celebrated online on 30

        August, 2021 which was simulcast on NCERT Official YouTube channel. Shri Manoj Bajpayee, Actor, Hindi
        Cinema industry was the chief guest and Prof. Ashok Ogra was the guest of honour for the event. Prof.
        Sridhar Shrivastava, Director, NCERT; Major Harsh Kumar, Secretary, NCERT, Prof. Amarendra P. Behera, Joint
        Director, CIET-NCERT, Prof. Shashi Prabha, Head, PRD, CIET-NCERT, Dr. G R Syed (Jury member), Dr. Ritu Rajput
        (Jury member) and Dr. Sujith Parayil (Jury member) graced the occasion. Out of the total 462 entries, 79
        programmes (audio-22, video-28, bite-sized video on Los-1, new media/ICT-20 and digital games-8) were
        selected for awards. These 79 programmes had best programmes (44) and individual excellence and jury
        appreciation programmes (35). Award money was transferred to the winners’ bank accounts. Certificates
        and mementos have been sent to the winners, Jury members and Guest of Honor. Festival Directory has
