NISHTHA

NCERT under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, the Government of India launched the National
Initiatives for School Heads and Teachers Holistic Development (NISHTHA) 2.0 (Secondary) on 29 July, 2021.
NISHTHA 2.0 (Secondary) is initiated by 32 states/ UTs and 7 autonomous organizations in 9 languages -
English, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Punjabi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Odia. The first three secondary courses
are launched in the month of August on the DIKSHA Platform, followed by the second three courses in
September. The total number of enrollments is 48,69,437 and the total number of certifications is 31,96,830.
