         Online Publication of Indian Journal of Educational Technology and Newsletter- CIET's journal, Indian Journal of
         Educational  Technology (IJET) -  The 5th (January 2021) issue of CIET's journal, Indian Journal of Educational
         Technology (IJET) was uploaded on its website (https://ciet.nic.in/IJET_Jan%202021/index.html). It had 11
         manuscripts under various categories: Research, Review, General, Communication and Book review. All the authors
         and Editorial Board members have been informed about the same. Compilation of 6th issue of the journal has
         started. The manuscripts are being received on a regular basis for January 2022 issue and are being reviewed.

         CIET's  Newsletter,  October-December     2020   issue   has   been   published    on   CIET's  website
         (https://ciet.nic.in/NewsLetterOct-Dec2020/index.html#page=1) and the Jan-March 2021 issue of the
         Newsletter has been compiled and is under designing.

         Report writing is in progress and the development of conference proceedings is in progress for International
         Conference on Emerging Trends in ICT in Education and Training. The certi cates to presenters, participants and
         organisers are being issued.

         Under Development of course materials for MOOCs on SWAYAM (School MOOCs for Classes 9th – 12th and
         MOOCs for Teacher Education) cycle 7 for 30 school education courses is extended till 30 Sept 2021. Till 31 May
         2021, there were 58,962 enrolments. Review of MOOCs repository in CIET portal done and corrections in progress
         Tutorials  are  developments  First  discussion  with  SCERT,  Tamil  Nadu  conducted  for  translation  of  courses.

         Customisation of course content for sharing with States is in process.
         Development  and  Maintenance of  Mobile  Apps and Digital  Platforms  (DIKSHA,  ePathshala and  NROER)-

         DIKSHA had a page hits of 2,280+ crores, Average daily page hits = 5.3+ crores; 4,274 Energized Textbooks were
         developed by states/UTs and NCERT 3,812 Textbooks are energized by States/UTs and published on DIKSHA
         1,84,762 pieces of e-content are live on DIKSHA 496 CBSE Shikshawani audios out of 805 audios are uploaded on
         DIKSHA, 115 videos in ISL have been uploaded on DIKSHA National Yoga quiz is started on DIKSHA on 21 June,
         2021. Capacity Building Programmes: 03 Online Professional Development programs are o ered by NCERT on
         DIKSHA: 1. Environmental Hazards of Electronic  Waste (E-Waste) in collaboration with MeitY 2. COVID19 -
         Responsive Behaviors in collaboration with UNICEF 3. Action Research - Pilot completed Capacity Building
         Programmes: 02 Online Professional Development programs are o ered by NCERT on DIKSHA: 1. Environmental
         Hazards of Electronic  Waste (E-Waste) in collaboration with MeitY 2. COVID19 - Responsive Behaviors in

         collaboration with UNICEF; Action Research - Pilot completed 03 States/ UTs (Punjab, Goa, Himachal Pradesh) are
         continuing NISHTHA Elementary on DIKSHA. 11th meeting with the coordinators of all the States/UTs of India was
         held on 29 June, 2021 for the implementation of actionable points for DIKSHA. The meeting was graced by the
         presence of Prof. A.P. Behera, J.D. CIET, NCERT, Prof. Indu Kumar, National Coordinator, DIKSHA, CIET, NCERT, the
         DIKSHA coordinators of States & UTs and the entire DIKSHA team of NCERT.
