15th ALL India Children's Educational Audio Video Festival (AICEAVF-2010)

(March 18-20, 2010)


 

Regulations

 

i.       The Audio and Video programmes that are produced from January 1, 2009 to October 31, 2009 are eligible          for entry. An undertaking regarding the production date of the programme should be given by the          producer/institution failing which entries will be rejected.

 

ii.      Last Date for submission of entry is January 8, 2010.

 

iii.     Video Competition for Pre-Primary to Secondary and Higher Secondary, as well as for Teachers-   Maximum          duration – 30 minutes.

 

iv.     Audio / Video competition (maximum duration of 30 minutes ).
           

              1.   Preprimary                

              2.   Primary     

              3.   Upper Primary                                        

              4.   Secondary and Senior Secondary  

              5.   Teachers                                            

              6.   Animation/Puppetry      

  

                     

          (For programmes under student category, there is no bar on duration)

 

 

v.     Under Student Production only the programmes made by school students i.e., students enrolled in school in         any class up to Class XII will be eligible. Each entry should be accompanied by a certificate issued by the         Head of the Institution, certifying that the programme has been produced by the student, from his/her         institution.

 

vi.    Full length Educational Audio or Video productions with 30-90 minutes duration only could be entered.

 

vii.   Entry should be in CD/DVD format. Two copies should be submitted for entry. Programmes made by        compiling the stock shots would not be eligible for competition.

 

viii   One programme can be entered only in one category. If it is entered in more than one categories, it will be         rejected.

 

ix     It is essential to mention the category of awards, for which the entry is sent. If category is not mentioned,         the entry will be rejected.

 

x     Two copies of script (final or production script) along with two copies of synopsis must be sent for every        program that is entered for competition. For programs in languages other than Hindi or English, translations        into Hindi or English of commentary/dialogue are essential.

 

xi    The programmes can be in any Indian language. However, programmes other than in English or Hindi, should        either be dubbed or sub-titled in Hindi/English.

 

xii    A copy of all the entries shall be retained by CIET.

 

xiii   CIET would have non-exclusive rights to telecast/broadcast the award winning programmes, for a number of        times.

 

xiv   The Short Listing Committee for each of the awards categories shall first prepare a short list of the entries.

 

xv   All the short listed programmes will be judged by a common Jury (separately for Audio and Video).

 

xvi   The Jury will have the right to consider an entry, other than those short listed.Result declared by the Juries         will be binding on all the entries.

 

xvii   CIET reserves all the rights to change the rules as well as dates.
