Programme plan of VPD (2009-10):

The division generally produces about 150 educational video programmes in a year. These programmes are curriculum based as well as enrichment.

NCERT has developed a National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2005) in 2005. The task of developing the text books based on this framework is now completed. Video Production Division produces programmes to support the textbooks.

Under the Enrichment Programme Category, VPD produced many series of programmes e.g. on Bharat Natyam (32 programmes both in Hindi and English), Yoga for children (22 programmes), Quiz entitled Kiski Hogi Jeet (13 programmes) etc.
